First Home Owner Concession - HOMESTART NT Shared Equity Loan scheme

This calculator provides an indication of the stamp duty payable on the sale of residential property where the purchaser is:

-  

eligible for the First Home Owner Concession (FHOC); and

-   purchasing the property with the Chief Executive Officer Housing (CEO Housing) under HOMESTART NT Shared Equity Loan scheme.

For contracts executed (signed) on or after 6 May 2008, a concession of up to $15 515.50 off the stamp duty payable is available. This represents the duty on the first $385 000 of the purchase price for the property. For details of the thresholds prior to 6 May 2008, click here.

Note: Purchasers eligible for FHOC are not entitled to the Principal Place of Residence Rebate.

How to use this calculator

  - Choose whether the purchase property is vacant land or not
  - Enter the purchase price or unencumbered value of the property, whichever is the greater without using commas (,) or full stops (.)  (eg, 350000).
  - Enter the date of contract (contract execution date) of the property in the form dd/mm/yyyy.
  - Enter the interest in the property that you are purchasing with the CEO Housing (eg, 75%)
  - Click on the “Calculate” button and the duty will automatically be calculated.
